Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment. Recent studies have shown that mindfulness meditation training improves your brain’s ability to help you manage stress, and these changes improve a broad range of stress-related health outcomes. Sally Younghans, a certified hatha yoga and meditation instructor, brings a love and passion for sharing and teaching these evidence based techniques, empowering us all to experience the inner peace that dwells within.
